On arrival at New Jaipalguri Rly station/Bagdogra Airport, you will be received by our representative and commuted to Phuentsholling (Approx – 165 km /4 ½ hrs) where you will be checked into your Hotel for rest and refreshment. Evening, if interested you can visit the local markets. Overnight in Phuentsholling.

Phuentsholling – Thimphu (Approx – 180 km / 6 hrs): -- Post breakfast process the permit and take the transfer to Thimphu. Check-in to your hotel on arrival. Afternoon visit the local market around the Clock Tower. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

After breakfast, we go for a Full day sightseeing tour of Thimphu including visit to BBS Tower or the view point, SAARC Building, India House, Handicraft School, Memorial Chorten, Simtokha Dzong. Evening free to explore. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Today, we drive to Punakha (Approx 2 ½ hours) through some of the Kingdom’s richest agricultural land and most dramatic river valleys.  

The first stop after leaving Thimphu on the journey east is Dochu La pass around 3100 m high and way above the clouds.  Only an hour's drive from Thimphu, it offers visitors their first glimpse of the Eastern Himalayan range. From the pass the road curls its way down into the relative lowlands of the Punakha Valley. Before Thimphu was made the permanent capital of Bhutan, Punakha was the Winter Capital because of its more temperate climate.

Later, we shall visit the beautiful Punakha Dzong( known as the  “the palace of great happiness”),located at the confluence of the Pho Chhu (father) and Mo Chhu (mother) rivers in the Punakha–Wangdue valley. We shall also visit the Chhimi Lhakhang monastery. Overnight stay at hotel in Punakha.

Today morning, we leave Punakha and proceed towards the town of Paro and on the way visit Paro Dzong located on the rocky outcrop of the steep hillside overlooking both sides of the valley drive back to the town. After noon visit the old ruins of Drukgyel Dzong, 17th century fortress that used to keep invaders from Tibet and in 1951 the fort was destroyed by fire. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Paro.

Haa Valley Excursion (65Kms): -- After breakfast, we shall go for a sightseeing excursion for Haa Valley. Over night stay in Paro.

Today, we shall for a local sightseeing tour of Paro, wherein we shall visit the famous Taktsang Monastery, also known as the ‘Tiger’s Nest’, located on a high cliff towards the north of Paro town. One can hike (around 2 hours) uphill to the monastery to capture the spectacular views. Later, we shall also visit Kichu Lhakhang temple, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan. Overnight stay at hotel in Paro.

Paro – Phuentsholling (Approx 200 Kms/ 7 Hrs): -- After breakfast take the transfer to Phuentshilloing. Check-in to your hotel on arrival. Evening is free for individual activities. Over night halt at hotel.

After breakfast, we shall drive to New Jaipalguri Rly station/Bagdogra Airport, for your onward journey with memories of a lifetime!
